Jack N' Jill Toothpaste Review & Giveaway

Sophia now has four teeth with two more that are poking out, which will be a total of SIX teeth in my little babies mouth. At her 9 month doctors appointment her doctor said we can go ahead and start brushing her teeth! I was so excited that I stopped at Target on the way home to pick up supplies for our first tooth brushing experience that we had planned on doing after her bath. Fast forward to a panicked mom looking at tons of toothpaste and brushes. I felt like a deer in head lights as I just stood there. I guess an employee thought so too as she kindly asked, "can I help you find something". I refrained from blurting out YES, how about the safest all natural toothpaste/toothbrush on the market that I know will be the best thing possible for the love of my life to use on a daily basis! I know I would have gotten a look as if I was crazy! But when it comes to our child I don't care. I want the best of the best! I ended up leaving the store empty handed (as far as dental hygiene products) because really who can leave Target empty handed!

I went home and did some research and was SHOCKED to see what is used in Top name brand children's toothpaste! I was so blinded by the big names and flashy advertising that I had NO CLUE what was in it! Lets just say you need to do your research when it comes to the toothpaste you are using! The fastest way to absorb anything in your body is through your mouth so that leaves direct access to these harmful ingredients to enter your body, or your child's! No thanks!
We received these products free for review purposes but all opinions are 100% Honest

One of the biggest concerns I had with other brands were all children's toothpaste is flavored, so naturally the child is going to want to swallow it, especially for the little ones that don't even know how to "spit" yet. Here is where I see a BIG concern, the warning that says,"WARNING, keep out of reach of children under the age of 6. If more than used for normal brushing is swallowed, contact your physician or local Poison Control Center immediately." Ok so why is there Fluoride in children's toothpaste?!?

I was given the opportunity to review Jack N' Jill toothpaste, toothbrushes and a fun travel bag. The first thing I did was hop on the net and see what I could find out. I was more than impressed and decided to wait a whole week before I even started Sophia's new nighttime routine. I stand by this product 100%! I love that Jack N' Jill is FLOURIDE FREE!! I also can't lie....I'm a sucker for packaging so it was even sweeter that I am Head over Heels for the design Jack N' Jill has! It's super cute and we have already filled her travel bag with both toothpastes and her toothbrush when we went to the beach house this weekend!

What the peeps at Jack N' Jill had to say:
Jack N' Jill is a natural toothpaste for babies, toddlers & children that is safe to swallow. It was first made in Melbourne, Australia in 1949 and it has been our family business for more than twenty years. It continues to be made in Australia and we are excited that Jack N' Jill is now available in the USA and UK as well.
Jack N' Jill toothpaste is 100% safe for young children – especially because they have a tendency to swallow it, rather than spit it out! All Jack N' Jill packaging is designed to be appealing to children and is cute enough that parents won't mind it sitting on their bathroom vanity. Alongside the toothpaste we have designed and manufactured the first children’s toothbrushes that are made of NON GMO cornstarch, and are therefore biodegradable and recyclable. Did we mention 'cute'?
At Jack N' Jill we believe that businesses have an obligation to the environment, that’s why we have formulated an all natural, hypoallergenic toothpaste with organic ingredients, and designed our packaging to be minimal, recyclable and BPA Free.

I can't help it...I'm so tempted to go nuts this Halloween and hand out Jack N' Jill products to all the neighborhood kids! I actually think they would be thrilled! I did Play dough and Glow Necklaces last year and it was a hit!! This would be Super Cute too ;) I think the parents would get a kick out of it!
